BACKGROUND
Background
Institute History
In 1997, Thammasat University established the Thammasat University Research and Consultancy Institute, commonly known as "TU-RAC". It operates as an autonomous unit within the university's administrative structure.
The institute aims to conduct research and provide academic services, focusing on knowledge development in Social Sciences, Humanities, Science & Technology, and Health Sciences. We provide professional consultancy, training programs, seminars, and organizational development for both public and private sectors.
Thammasat University faculty members, who serve as our key personnel, are distinguished experts across various fields. Their academic recognition ensures that TU-RAC delivers research, consultancy, and training services of the highest quality.

Our Journey
1997
Thammasat University established TU-RAC as an independent administrative unit.
2000
Registered as a consultant with the Ministry of Finance on October 6, 2000 (ID No. 668).
2015
Thammasat University transitioned to become an autonomous university.
2016
Renamed to Office of Thammasat University Research and Consultancy on March 21, 2016.
2017
Officially operated under the name Office of Research and Consultancy following new university regulations.
2022
Reverted to the original name: Thammasat University Research and Consultancy Institute (TU-RAC).
