21 สิงหาคม 2568 | สถาบันวิจัยและให้คำปรึกษาแห่งมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ (TU-RAC) นำโดย รองศาสตราจารย์ วิทยา ด่านธำรงกูล ผู้อำนวยการ ร่วมประชุมหารือกับ สำนักงานนโยบายและยุทธศาสตร์การค้า (สนค.) โดยมี นางสาวณัฐิยา สุจินดา รองผู้อำนวยการ สนค. พร้อมด้วยผู้อำนวยการกอง และนักวิชาการพาณิชย์ เข้าร่วมแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นและโจทย์วิจัยเชิงนโยบาย เพื่อสนับสนุนการจัดทำยุทธศาสตร์การค้าไทยทั้งในระยะสั้นและระยะยาว โดยมีประเด็นสำคัญ อาทิ ผลกระทบจากห่วงโซ่อุปทานที่จีนเข้ามาลงทุนในประเทศไทย มาตรการภาษีทรัมป์ที่อาจกระทบต่อเศรษฐกิจและอุตสาหกรรมของไทย รวมถึงการพัฒนาและเสริมศักยภาพผู้ประกอบการ SMEs ที่ได้รับผลกระทบจากการแข่งขัน ตลอดจนการสร้างมูลค่าเพิ่ม (Value Added) ให้สินค้าภายในประเทศ เพื่อสร้างความแข็งแกร่งทางเศรษฐกิจและป้องกันผลกระทบจากมาตรการทางการค้าระหว่างประเทศ ณ ห้องประชุมตรีรัตนพร ชั้น 14 สำนักงานนโยบายและยุทธศาสตร์การค้า

นอกจากนี้ ยังได้ร่วมหารือถึงแนวทางการกระจายรายได้และการพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจในระดับภูมิภาคและจังหวัด เพื่อลดความเหลื่อมล้ำทางเศรษฐกิจ รวมถึงการยกระดับสินค้าเกษตร การขยายโอกาสทางการค้าระหว่างประเทศ การปรับตัวตามกติกาสากล และการใช้การตลาดดิจิทัลเพื่อเพิ่มศักยภาพทางการแข่งขัน อีกทั้งยังมีการหารือถึงการนำระบบ AI Assistant มาใช้พัฒนากระบวนการทำงานด้านข้อมูลเศรษฐกิจ รวมถึงการปรับปรุงการจัดทำดัชนีราคาผู้บริโภคให้มีประสิทธิภาพมากยิ่งขึ้น

TU-RAC and TPSO Collaborate on Research Agendas to Drive Thailand’s Trade Strategy
August 21, 2025 | Thammasat University Research and Consultancy Institute (TU-RAC), led by Associate Professor Witaya Danthamrongkul, Director, held a meeting with the Trade Policy and Strategy Office (TPSO), represented by Ms. Natiya Suchinda, Deputy Director, together with Division Directors and Trade Policy Officers. The meeting focused on exchanging views and developing research agendas to support the formulation of Thailand’s short-term and long-term trade strategies.

Key issues discussed included the impacts of supply chains established by Chinese investments in Thailand, the potential effects of Trump’s tariff measures on the Thai economy and industries, as well as the development and strengthening of SMEs that have been heavily affected by competition. The meeting also addressed approaches to creating Value Added in domestic products to reinforce the country’s economic resilience and safeguard against international trade measures. The discussion took place at the Triratnaporn Conference Room, 14th Floor, TPSO.

In addition, the two parties explored strategies for income distribution and regional economic development to reduce inequality, upgrading agricultural products to increase value, expanding opportunities for international trade, and adjusting to global trade rules. Other topics included the use of digital marketing to enhance competitiveness, the integration of AI Assistant systems to improve trade data processes, and the enhancement of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) compilation and analysis for greater efficiency.
