🌱 ก้าวสำคัญสู่อนาคตที่ยั่งยืน
สถาบันวิจัยและให้คำปรึกษาแห่งมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ (TU-RAC) นำโดย รศ. วิทยา ด่านธำรงกูล ผู้อำนวยการ พร้อมด้วยนักวิจัยสหสาขาวิชาจาก 5 คณะ ได้เข้าพบ ศ. ดร.ศุภสวัสดิ์ ชัชวาลย์ อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ เพื่อหารือแนวทางการขับเคลื่อนเป้าหมาย “Carbon Neutrality University 2050” สู่การเป็นมหาวิทยาลัยที่ปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกสุทธิเป็นศูนย์ ภายในปี พ.ศ. 2593 ภายใต้การดำเนินงาน 3 เฟสหลัก คือ Green Shift, Impact Surge และ Net Zero เริ่มต้นจากการประเมิน Carbon Footprint องค์กรของมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ และการดำเนินการในพื้นที่นำร่องอย่างธรรมศาสตร์ ท่าพระจันทร์และรังสิต พร้อมสนับสนุนคณะ/หน่วยงานที่มีความพร้อมให้เดินหน้าขอการรับรองจากองค์การบริหารจัดการก๊าซเรือนกระจก (องค์การมหาชน) หรือ TGO
✅ ผลการประชุม
อธิการบดีเห็นชอบให้จัดตั้ง “คณะทำงานธรรมศาสตร์สู่ความเป็นกลางทางคาร์บอน” เพื่อผลักดันมหาวิทยาลัยสู่บทบาทผู้นำด้านความยั่งยืนในระดับประเทศและภูมิภาค
ธรรมศาสตร์พร้อมเป็นแบบอย่างของมหาวิทยาลัยสีเขียวอย่างแท้จริง 🌿

TU-RAC Meets with Rector to Propose “Thammasat Towards Carbon Neutrality” Initiative
🌱 A Critical Step Towards a Sustainable Future
The Thammasat University Research and Consultancy Institute (TU-RAC), led by Assoc. Prof.Witaya Danthamrongkul, Director, along with interdisciplinary researchers from 5 faculties, met with Prof. Dr. Supasawad Chardchawarn, Rector of Thammasat University, to discuss strategies for advancing the “Carbon Neutrality University 2050” goal – achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 (B.E. 2593).
The initiative will be implemented through 3 main phases: Green Shift, Impact Surge, and Net Zero, beginning with assessing Thammasat University’s organizational Carbon Footprint and implementing pilot programs at Thammasat Tha Phra Chan and Rangsit campuses. The project will also support faculties and departments ready to pursue certification from Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (TGO).
✅ Meeting Outcomes
The Rector approved the establishment of the “Thammasat Carbon Neutrality Working Committee” to drive the university towards becoming a national and regional leader in sustainability.
Thammasat is ready to become a true model of a green university 🌿
