25 March 2026 | Thammasat University Research and Consultancy Institute (TU-RAC), led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chanachai Thongchom, Acting Deputy Director of TU-RAC, together with researchers from Thammasat University, paid a visit to Mr. Kraisit Singkanchanaroj, Director of the Research Division of the Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA), and his team to discuss collaboration in research and academic consultancy in the field of mass transit systems.
The discussion focused on exchanging TU-RAC’s research capabilities and MRTA’s innovation policy directions, particularly the application of digital technologies to enhance the efficiency, safety, and sustainability of rail systems. Both parties also explored approaches to developing research agendas that support the future growth of mass transit systems.
